Keluarga besar SMP Negeri 1 Kroya merayakan dengan memakai pakaian adat khas Cilacap, dengan bertujuan melestarikan budaya khas Kabupaten Cilacap.
kebaya dan Jarit Wijaya Kusuma sebagai pakaian adat untuk Ibu guru dan karyawan SMP Negeri 1 Kroya, begitu juga Bapak guru dan karyawan memakai beskap khas Cilacap.
