SMP Negeri 1 Kroya Lakukan Screening Kesehatan Siswa
SMP Negeri 1 Kroya (SpensaKro) bekerja sama dengan petugas kesehatan Puskesmas Kroya 1 melakukan Penjaringan Kesehatan Anak Sekolah (Screening) kepada seluruh siswa. Kegiatan ini berlangsung pada Rabu, 31 Oktober 2024.
Screening adalah salah satu bentuk dari pelayanan kesehatan yang bertujuan untuk mendeteksi masalah kesehatan siswa agar segera mendapatkan penanganan secepatnya serta tersedianya data atau informasi untuk menilai perkembangan kesehatan peserta didik.
Adapun proses rangkaian Screening dimulai pada pukul 08.00 WIB disemua kelas, meliputi pemeriksaan kebersihan rambut, kulit dan kuku, pemeriksaan status gizi melalui pengukuran antropometri, pemeriksaan ketajaman indra penglihatan dan pendengaran, serta pemeriksaan kesehatan gigi dan mulut.
Ibu Eny Budiati, S.Pd., selaku Pembina UKS SMP Negeri 1 Kroya menjelaskan bahwa Screening kesehatan anak sekolah merupakan kegiatan rutin yang dilakukan setiap tahun dengan bekerja sama Puskesmas dengan sekolah-sekolah SMP di Wilayah Kecamatan Kroya.
“Dalam pelaksanaanya kegiatan screening ini diikuti seluruh siswa kelas 7 sampai 9 dan didampingi 9 petugas kesehatan dari Puskesmas 1 kroya. Setiap petugas tersebut memiliki tugas masing-masing untuk melakukan pengecekan kesehatan tiap siswa,” imbuhnya.
Selain melakukan cek kesehatan, para dokter juga memberikan edukasi kepada siswa untuk selalu menjaga kebersihan dan kesehatan. Mereka mengimbau untuk melakukan pemeriksaan lebih lanjut ke fasilitas kesehatan terdekat jika setelah kegiatan ini siswa menemukan masalah kesehatan.
“Hal tersebut bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi kepada siswa pada waktu proses pelaksanaan Screening guna menjaga kebersihan diri dan kesehatannya. Apabila dalam proses screening ditemukan masalah kesehatannya maka akan kita rujuk untuk datang ke fasilitas kesehatan terdekat, (MSKT)
